Living Thought #001

Share

I’m just a person who lives.

I’m not a doctor. I don’t play one on TV either. I’m not a scientist. I’m not a researcher. I’m not a politician. I’m not an expert.

I’m not old or young.

I’m not a role. I’m not a title. I’m not employed as "the person who knows things."

I just live here.

And because I live here, I end up thinking about things.

My latest rambling:

I wonder if we can keep vaccinations that have clearly worked and helped eliminate diseases and somehow remove the ones that do not seem to make much difference.

Not because I know the answer.

Mostly because I wonder how regular people are supposed to know anymore.

There is so much information and so many people standing in front of microphones. Every side seems to arrive carrying charts, certainty, studies, warnings, experts, former experts, people questioning experts, and experts questioning other experts.

At some point I think a lot of people quietly stop trying to understand and just pick a team.

I do not really want a team.

I just want to understand enough to live here.

That's it.

Until the next rambling from a person who lives.
